Gardener On-Call serves clients in areas of Fairfield and New Haven Counties. All new clients receive consultations of ninety minutes for average residential properties of less than one acre. Ninety minutes is usually enough time to walk the property, discuss the client's concerns, review garden practices, examine problem plants, take samples if needed, and discuss sustainable strategies.
Consultations focus on cultivated areas of the property. Densely-planted properties having many beds and borders and properties over one acre may require longer consultations. Established clients may schedule shorter follow-up visits, depending on their needs. At the initial consultation, clients will receive the consultation contract and the client information pack outlining the sustainable garden practices on which Gardener On-Call is founded and which the client will use as the basis for creating and maintaining sustainable gardens. A summary report of the visit and any further findings and recommendations will be sent to clients in seven to ten business days. At no time will Gardener On-Call engage in any activity that may endanger human health or safety.
